The Sober What?

Scarfie: A term used to describe students studying at Otago University in Dunedin, New Zealand. Blue and gold striped scarves are traditonally worn to ward off the cold.

Typical Scarfie behaviour includes: weekly binge drinking, attending street keg parties, burning couches (while drunk), spending all your money on alcohol and having to live off two-minute noodles, and streaking through first-year lectures.

True Scarfies are hardcore and resourceful. They wake up after a night of heavy drinking on the floor of an unfamiliar flat and decide it must have been a great night.

I do none of these things, and while I drink occasionally, I might as well be sober compared to them.

Until further notice, this will act as a Brittana appreciation blog.
